(Research):IDAHO FALLS, ID - Raymond Glen Cox, 77, of Idaho Falls, died November 14, 2004, at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born March 17, 1927, in Sturgis, South Dakota, to Robert Glen Cox and Zella Culter Cox. He was drafted into the U. S. Army in the winter of 1945 and was discharged in January, 1947.
He married Barbara Umphery of Rexburg, Idaho on January 13, 1947, in Butte, Montana. They lived and raised their family in Lead, South Dakota. On October 16, 1977, his wife, Barbara, passed away. Raymond retired in June 1989 from Homestake Mining Company in Lead, South Dakota, with a total of 37 years of employment. Raymond was a devoted husband and father.
On January 14, 1978, he was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. An active member of the church, he served as Bishop, and in various other church callings.
On October 9, 1982, he married Francis Schiess in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. With this marriage he became dad to twelve-year-old Tom. He and Francis served in the Florida, Fort Lauderdale Mission. In the Fall of 1997, Ray and Francis moved to Idaho Falls, where he has resided until the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara ?TBobbie?T, a daughter, LaRae, a son Steve, two grandchildren, Danielle and Paul McIntyre; a brother, Clarence Eugene, and his parents.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2004, at the Ucon LDS 2nd Ward, 10854 North 41 East.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2004, at the Sturgis LDS Chapel, 2400 Baldwin, in Sturgis, South Dakota. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, 1235 Junction, in Sturgis and Friday for one hour prior to the services, at the church. Local arrangements were entrusted to Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Burial will be in the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota, under the direction of Kinkade Funeral Chapel. Military rites will be performed by the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Childrens' Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, through Darwin Cox.

◦Former City Resident Dies

Mrs. Cecilia Grow Heindel, 85, former resident of Idaho Falls and wife of Thomas Heindel died Friday at Shell Beach, Calif. The Heindels had been living in California for the past 10 years.
She was employed in Idaho Falls for many years.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Umphrey, Pocatello; two sons, John Grow, Idaho Falls; Raymond Grow, Shell Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Harold Heindel who was killed in action during World War II.
Funeral services will be brought to Idaho Falls Friday morning and the family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of services at Woods Chapel of the Pines Friday.
Interment will be in the Ammon Cemetery directed by the Wood Funeral Home.
