Gerald Ray Seals Gerald Ray Seals, 54, died October 2, 2002 in American Fork.He was born December 29, 1947 in Tooele to Guy Edward and Lois Winterrose Seals. He married Janet Harding March 25, 1968 in American Fork. They were later divorced. He graduated from American Fork High School, Utah Technical College and attended Southern Utah University. He was very active in the JayCees. He was a Master Electrician. He had worked at Geneva Steel and later owned and operated G.R.I.D. Electrical. He loved to golf, spend time with his grandkids, BBQ, and have food fights with his family. He was always busy helping others or working on his home. He is survived by his mother, Lois Seals; his children, Geraldine (Narvel) Scherzinger, West Valley City; Prudunce (Todd) Schurtz, Cedar City; Charidee Seals, American Fork; Cory Ray (Amie) Seals, American Fork; nine grandchildren: Toni, Tyson, Taylor, and T.J. Shurtz; Tiffani, Austin, Trevon, and Brayden Scherzinger; and Tanner Seals; a brother, Scott (Debra) Seals, of Salina; and a sister, Diane Stubbs, of Spanish Fork. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, Guy, and two brothers, Dennis and Kent. "I love my Daddy and my Daddy loves me very, very much." Funeral services will be Saturday, October 5th at 2:00 in the American Fork 12th Ward, 673 East 300 North. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork; and Saturday at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.

Lois Seals Johnson passed away peacefully July 14, 2016. Lois was loved by all that knew her and she truly exemplified the Savior: No one was a stranger to mom. She cared for everyone and loved life and the opportunity to serve others. Mom was born to Ruben and Jenny Winterrose September 10, 1924 and grew up in Cedar City, Utah.
Mom married Guy Edward Seals March 31, 1943. They had 5 children: Dennis Guy Seals (Alene), Jerry Ray Seals, Ruben Kent Seals (Susan), Dad died February 8, 1968.

Mom later married her high school sweetheart Col. Ervine Vance Johnson who died March 31st 2015.
Mom was a goer! She loved to have the house full of loved ones and any guests that decided to show up. She became a Pajama maker for all that was on her Christmas list. Sometimes that meant making a hundred pairs or more. Mom was a great cook and prepared many meals enjoyed by her family. She was always busy making her peanut butter fudge or hot sauce for an ice cream delight…
She created a heritage of love, laugh and work your way through life. Her testimony of the Savior served as the foundation for her life. She served an LDS mission to Jacksonville Florida as well as a host of positions in the LDS church. At the time of her passing she was serving the primary children of the American Fork Ninth Ward. She loved the little children and they loved her.
Our family wish to say a big “Thank You” to all who made moms last few months enjoyable and fun. A special thanks goes to the great people of Hospice of Utah who she grew to love and depend on.
We were blessed to have her in our home. Her daughter-in-law Deby was able to provide for mom the greatest love with deep dedication for mom’s care and happiness. To say thanks seems totally inadequate. This last month as Deb needed more help, mom’s granddaughter Geraldine was able to step in as well. For which we are eternally grateful.

She is survived by two of her children; Alice Diane Stubbs and Scott Richard Seals (Debra), 23 grandchild , many great and great great grandchildren as well has two of her siblings; Jackie Fullmer and Gayle Winterrose.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard (Dick) Winterrose, husband Guy and three of her sons, Dennis, Jerry, Kent and a granddaughter Heidi Lynn Seals.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 11:00 am in the American Fork Ninth Ward Chapel, 673 East 300 North, American Fork. Family and friends may attend a viewing Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30-10:45 am. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
