    • Roxanna Marie Woods 08/10/1964~02/13/2011 Our precious mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend died on February 13, 2011 at the age of 46 from Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, which she in endured for 16 years. She was born on August 10, 1964 to Alfred V. and LaRetta C. Walton in Murray, Utah. She graduated from Murray High School and later married her soul mate and best friend, David Lewis Woods, Sept. 6, 1986. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple a year later. They had four wonderful children: Eric, Crystal, Steven and Jessica. She loved to work in the yard and go to the mountains and spend time with her children. They loved to go fishing together, even though it was the fish hatchery, where you were guaranteed to catch something. She loved her roses and planted many in her yard. She spent the last six years of David's life taking care of him; in and out of the hospital and listening to Yanni together until his death in August 98. She served as compassionate service leader in the Taylorsville 35th Ward for eight years, which she loved doing dearly. She raised her children who were all very young when their father died. She became a grandma at age 40 to William David and later to Colby Michael, and Chloe Ann Hurst. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband and brothers, Frank (Beth) and Bruce. Survivors: children; grandchildren; sister, Carrie Walton (Rick Burton); brothers, Bill (Elaine); Chester Walton; Richard (Wendie); David (Ilse); and Russell Blatnick (Verla); and two nieces, Sage and Madison, whom she helped raise. Roxann would like to thank Bishop Barry Buckner and Trudy Bawden, who were there during the hard times and a dear friend Cindy Peck who was always there since her childhood. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses who helped take care of her PPH all those years. Funeral services will be in the Taylorsville 25th Ward, 4505 South 3420 West, on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the ward and one hour prior to the service. Interment at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road. Online condolences www.memorialutah.com Families are Forever
