    • John C. Aggesen, 74, of Stanfordville, NY, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at the Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. Before retirement, he was an entrepreneur and a businessman. In addition to real estate holdings, he owned and operated various businesses throughout his career. During the Korean War, he served with the US Army in France. Born May 5, 1933 in Flushing, NY he was the son of the late Hans and Valarie (Didowitz) Aggesen. John married Liliane Coirault, whom he met while stationed in France, on September 17, 1955 in Linbrook, NY. Mrs. Aggesen survives him at home. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons: Gregory P. Aggesen of Stanfordville and John R. Aggesen and his wife Joanne of Brightwater, NY, and a sister: Evelyn Betcher of Long Beach, NY. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 10th, Burnett & White Funeral Home, 91 E. Market St, Rhinebeck, NY. The Rev. Kenneth Jetto of Memorial Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Rock City.
