Burkinshaw, Bret Dustin
was born April 30, 1970 in Portland, Oregon. He was the son of Gail and Lenna Burkinshaw and the older brother to Aimee, Ryan, and Brandon. Bret graduated from Mtn. View High School in 1988 and was an excellent student. He went on to attend BYU and graduated with a degree in accounting and also obtained his CPA. He held the rank of Eagle Scout and served an honorable two year mission for his church. Bret married Mary Huish on March 31, 1995. They shared 3 beautiful daughters, Macy, age 15, Marley, age 12, and Maddie, age 10. Bret was always a loving, caring and devoted father and a great support to everyone around him. He was a wonderful son, brother, friend, and father. There will be a viewing Sunday evening March 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1483 N. Driftwood, Gilbert, AZ 85234. The Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11 a.m., with a final viewing at 10 a.m. Bret will be laid to rest at Mt. View Cemetery located at 7900 E. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207.
