She is survived by 12 incredible children, 30 amazing grandchildren, 29 marvelous great grandchildren, 17 loving siblings, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her wonderful husband Carl, parents, sister and best friend Laura, grandsons Terrell and Zachary. 10 | Obituary: Troy Carl Hansen, 85, passed away on March 27, 2008, in the Conejos County Hospital in La Jara, Colo. after a long illness. He was born to Theadore and Elnora Hansen July 26, 1922, in Sanford, Colo. He was married and sealed to Lena Mae Morgan in the L.D.S. Salt Lake City Temple on November 29, 1948. Troy served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Brazil during WWII. He received an honorable discharge. His occupations included farming, mechanics and heavy equipment operator. He loved fishing, hunting and pulling taffy candy to share with others. Troy is survived by his wife; sister Opal Morgan of Citrus Heights, Calif.; children Hal (Deanne) Hansen of Orem, Utah and Joan (Leonard) Snider of Heber, Utah; by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Earl Jensen, two sisters, Marge Jamison and Bertha Hargrave and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be on Mon., March 31, 2008 at 12 p.m. noon at the Sanford Cemetery. 11 | TWIN FALLS - Belva Louise Lammers, 82, of Twin Falls, passed away quietly on March 3, 2007, with her family by her side. Belva was born to Leonard and Freda Ross on July 30, 1924, in McGill, Nev. She was raised in the Newdale, Idaho, area. Her family moved to Twin Falls in her high school years, where she graduated from Twin Falls High School. She married Harold Paul Lammers in Twin Falls on May 21, 1943. They have six children, H. Dean (deceased), Teresa (Gerald, deceased) Althouse of Bountiful, Utah, Bonita (R. Brent) Jones of Burley, Idaho, Darla (Robert) Birch of Eagle, Idaho, Rex (Christie) Lammers of Ogden, Utah and LaDeana (Rick) Routt of Twin Falls, Idaho. Belva has 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Vera Mann of Las Vegas, Nev.; and one brother, Blaine Ross of Twin Falls, Idaho. Her parents, a son, a son-in-law and a grandson preceded her in death. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Desert Rose Assisted Living Facility for the loving care they gave Belva. The funeral for Belva will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, at the LDS Chapel on Elizabeth Boulevard. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at White Mortuary, 136 Fourth Ave. E. in Twin Falls, and also from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church. 12 | WILLIAM DAVID BIXLER William David Bixler, 76, Kansas City, MO, passed away Thursday, October 29, 1998, at St. Joseph Health Care Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 2, at the Park Lawn Chapel; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice. Mr. Bixler was born August 5, 1922, in Versailles, MO, and had lived in this area all of his life. He was an electrician for J.H. McKay Electric, and instrumental in the construction of several prominent Kansas City buildings, including The Landing, Crown Center and Halls on the Plaza. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 124. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lillie Bixler, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Nona and John Barnes, Raleigh, NC; two granddaughters, Valerie Hendrickson, Raleigh, NC, and Melissa Wheelock, Cary, NC; one great-granddaughter, Karen Hendrickson, Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Pauline Huff, Ogden, UT, and Donna Howard, Leawood, KS; two brothers, Robert Bixler, Leawood, KS, and Harold Bixler, Tucson, AZ. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be sadly missed. 16 | "Our Angel On Earth" Dixie always put a smile on our faces and love in our hearts. Dixie, our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2003. Dixie was born December 25, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Ada Francis Nielson Robinson and Kenneth Lorenzo Robinson. She graduated with a degree in Primary Education from Utah State University. Dixie married Lee Wilson on June 1, 1962 in the L.D.S. Salt Lake Temple. Dixie loved to collect bears and enjoyed donating them to various charities. We'll never see a teddy bear that we don't think of our dear Dixie. We'll miss you and look forward to the day when we'll meet again. Dixie is survived by her loving husband, Lee Wilson; sister, Alene (Paul) Masock. Dixie is the mother of Chris (Ann) Wilson, and the proud grandmother of five grandsons, Courtney, Christopher, James, Skylar and Bryce. Her parents preceded her in death.
