3751 | Dale Leroy Warburton Dale Leroy Warburton passed away on Monday morning December 16, 2002, from causes incident to Alzheimer?s disease and age. Dale was born on April 3, 1922, to Delbert Dewitt and Florence Beatrice Shephard Warburton. He married Ruth Gleason on February 3, 1951. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Dale is survived by his wife, Ruth Gleason Warburton, his three sons, Dale Bradford Debbie, Michael Gleason Carole, Lawrence ?Larry? D Barbara, his daughter, Laura Warburton Folkman. Dale was also blessed with 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Gerald Richard Warburton Barbara, Robert Shephard Warburton Carol, and a sister, Dorothy Fae Sheridan James, and loving nieces and nephews. Dale was raised and spent the majority of his working life in the Grouse Creek and Etna area family ranches. Dale later moved his family to Garland and labored as a factory worker and warehouseman in Garland U&I Sugar and Ogden DDO. Dale very much enjoyed the ranching lifestyle, caring for livestock, and the out-of-doors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and passed on much of this enthusiasm to his children, grandchildren and many others. Dale served in the military in the South Pacific during WWII. The family wishes to express extreme appreciation for the fine care given to Dale by the staff of the Bear River Valley Care Center where Dale spent his final few years. Services will be held Friday, December 20, 2002, 12:00 noon at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Interment will be in the Garland City Cemetery. 3784 | Daniel Trent Elijah Armstrong, 11 month old son of Trent and Sidney Armstrong of Ephraim, returned to his Heavenly Father December 30, 1999. Daniel was born January 22, 1999 in Provo, Utah. Our blessed little angel, who came to earth for such a brief time, has been called home. We are deeply saddened by our loss, but are sure he is safe and happy with Jesus. He was a sweet and perfect little child who radiated love and kindness to all. Despite being shackled with Down Syndrome, he developed rapidly and very strong and healthily, including a godDaniel is survived by his mother Sidney, father Trent, second mother Karin, brothers and sisters Gar, Rachelle, Sean ( Sarah), Jacinda (Michael), Joseph, Sarah, Jacob, Emily, Hannah and Elisheba. Also grandfather M. Blair Armstrong and grandparents Fred and Roberta Zitting, aunts Jill Ramirez, Mandy and Elizabeth Armstrong, uncle Benjamin Armstrong. Many cousins and other relatives. Preceded in death by grandmother Dianne Koshell Armstrong. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2000 at 1 p.m. at the Ephraim 1st Ward Chapel (10 South Main), with services conducted by Bishop David Strate. Interment will immediately follow at the Ephraim Park Cemetery. A luncheon will be provided following interment by the Ephraim1st Ward Relief Society. Funeral directors Ursenbach Funeral Home of Mt. 3791 | DARROW, Else Marie (née Andersen) of Woodstock, ON in her 95th year passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on November 3, 2014. Else was born in Denmark on February 29, 1920 and grew up on a farm with her four brothers and one sister before coming to Canada with her husband, Johannes (John) Andersen (2001), and four young children in 1951. She worked at Munro’s farm in Embro and the Ingersoll Cheese Factory. In 1974 she married her second husband, Charles Darrow, while working at the Ontario Regional Centre (ORC) in Woodstock and she retired in 1985 from the Queen Street Mental Health Centre in Toronto, after almost 25 years of service, as a Food Service Supervisor. After returning to her home in Woodstock, she enjoyed travelling in the USA and Canada, especially her “dream trip” to Hawaii and returning on several occasions to visit family in Denmark. Else was a strong, vibrant, tenacious and adventurous woman and she lived life to the fullest. She is predeceased by her parents, Maren (1962) and Laurits (1957) Andersen, her brothers Peter (2011), Niels (2012), Börge (2013) and Hans (2014) and her son, Kaj Emil Andersen (1963). She was dearly loved and will be missed by her sister, Bine Malm; her children, Erling Andersen (Donna), Karen Whitelaw (Don), and Irma Andersen; her grandchildren Lisa Laing (Ted Montgomery), Sean Herron (Rochelle), Jennifer Shepherd (Johnny), Jessica Happl (Aaron) and Michael Whitelaw (Lisa), and her great-grandchildren, Byron, Jacob, Erica, Aiden, Kaitlyn, Riley, Sophia, Callista, Ryan, Logan and Molly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Denmark whom she loved. The Family will receive friends at the SMITH-LEROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Saturday, November 08, 2014 from 11-12, with the service in the chapel at 12 noon. Reception will follow. The family welcomes all those that were acquainted with or knew Else to join them in this time of celebrating her life. 3793 | daughter of Claus and Andrea Andersen Ida Christine Andersen and her twin sister, Marie Magdalene was born in Nordberg, Denmark. They received their education in the elementary and high schools at Nordberg. She attended Ryslinger College in Ryslinger, Denmark. Ida Christine Andersen married G.A. Eriksen on 20 August 1910. In 1910, they moved to the United States and settled at St. Paul, Minnesota. The family moved to Texas in 1934 from Minnesota. They have two sons - Gordon Eriksen and Stuart Eriksen; one daughter - Mrs. Loren Maples; three granddaughters; one grandson. Mrs. Eriksen was a member of the Lutheran Church in Denmark. When the couple established residence in St. Paul, Minnesota, she became a member of the Methodist Church. Parker SALT LAKE CITY - Mrs. Minnie Affleck Zitting Rossiter Parker, 69, former Ogden resident, died at her home in Salt Lake City Wednesday after an illness. Mrs. Parker was born Sept. 17, 1898, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of William Preston and Minnie Benzon Affleck. She had been music director for the Salt Lake LDS Stake Singing Mothers and was soloist, organist and chorister for the church. She was married to Charles Frederick Zitting. They were divorced. She ws married to George Alfred Rossiter in May 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1963. She was married to O. Melvin Parker in July 1967. Surviving are her husband, two sons and one daughter, Frederick Affleck Zitting, Redondo Beach, Calif.; William Affleck Zitting, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jack (Elaine) Selander, North Ogden; 11 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Charles C. (Katy) Rich, Berniece Affleck, both of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Deseret Mortuary in Salt Lake City. 3795 | David Burt Carlisle 1927 ~ 2014 David Burt Carlisle, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on April 22, 2014, at the age of 86. He was born in Millcreek, Utah on July 19, 1927 to Charles Luther Carlisle and Margaret Gilmour Burt. David graduated from Payson High School. He worked on the family farm and part time at Geneva Steel until he left on his mission to the Eastern States Mission in 1949. He entered the Army in 1951 and served in Korea for 13 months. He was sealed in the temple to his wife, Margret Elaine Wells, on September 28, 1951. David worked for Abbott Laboratories and part time as a gunsmith at P&M Guns. After he retired David and Elaine served a mission to the England Bristol Mission. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many church callings among which were volunteering in the Salt Lake Temple Baptistery and Member Location Services. He loved making fudge and chocolate chip cookies. He also loved pheasant hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Elaine, four children: Brent (Cynthia) Carlisle, Rebecca (Kevin) Merritt, Barbara (Paul - deceased) Reissen, Ronald (Lydia) Carlisle, 13 grandkids, 15 great-grandkids and two sisters. He is preceded in death by a son-in-law Paul Reissen, a granddaughter Melanie Carlisle, his parents, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26th at 11am in the Rose Park 8th Ward, 1200 West 1155 North, where viewings will be held Friday evening from 6-8 pm and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 am prior to services.
