3989 | Ell Margaret Hawkins, 84, passed away on January 6, 2018, in St George, Utah. She was born on November 27, 1933 to Earl Christian Jensen and Bessie Inez Shawcroft in Sanford, Colorado. Ell Margaret grew up in Sanford, where she attended Sanford Public Schools. She met her husband, Ralph, in her late teens and was married on October 1, 1952, in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Ell Margaret was a wonderful wife and homemaker. In addition to raising eight children, she found time to devote to crocheting, canning, and quilting. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was blessed to serve a mission with her husband in the Bahia Blanca Argentina Mission. Ell Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Ralph; their children, Corinne (Arthur) of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Glenda (Lynn) of Browns Valley, CA, Ronald (Marianne) of Genola, UT, Grant (Susan) of Toole, UT, James (Cindy) of Orem, UT, Leslie (Janene) of Sanford, Stan (Jill) of St George, UT; daughter-in-law, Susie of Manassa; 32 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Ell Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Inez; son, Vernon; one grandchild; and two sisters, Bessie Elnora and Geraldine. The family would like to thank Serenity Funeral Home of Southern Utah, Sun Tree Home Health and Hospice, Nurses, Friends, Family, and countless others for all the kindness and devotion shown during the past few years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sanford LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 12th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 13th, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Sanford LDS Chapel. 3990 | Elmo John Carlisle Colorado City, Arizona - Announcing the graduation of a noble father, brother, husband, uncle, and friend, Elmo John Carlisle, who passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005, at his home in Colorado City, Arizona. He was born November 15, 1931, a son of Charles Luther and Margaret Gilmour Burt Carlisle. Elmo is eighth in a family of ten children, being the second born in a set of twins with Ivan James Carlisle. He was married April 19, 1957, to Nancy Lou Warnick. They were sealed for time and all eternity on May 20, 1972. Surviving family include his siblings, Ivan, Lois Carlisle Moore, David Burt Carlisle, Ila Carlisle R. Peterson, Grant Carlisle, Helen Carlisle Black, and Margaret Carlisle Wilson. He is also survived by Nancy, Naomi, and 16 children (3 daughters and 13sons); 43 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Finch; brother, Gerald Leon Carlisle; and two sons, Daniel Shadrach and Brad Newell. "We love you, Father." Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the L.S. Johnson Meetinghouse in Colorado City, AZ. Visitations will be held Wednesday, March 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again Thursday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m., prior to services, both at the Meetinghouse. 3991 | Elsie Lucille Wills, 78, a resident of Seattle for many years died Saturday, November 28, 1998 in Seattle after an extended illness. She was born September 5, 1920 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to John A. and Elsie D. Zittings. She was the second of seven children. Elsie married Roland C. Wills on June 20, 1947. They made their first home in Seattle living in Longview and Yakima and then returning to Seattle in 1972. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in the Relief Society presidency and Young Women's presidency of the church. Survivors include three daughters; Diane Merrill of Bartlett, TN, Janet Clayton of Toppenish, WA, Angie Gardner of Grovertown, IN, and one son, Alan Dale Wills of Mesa, AZ, 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Elsie is also survived by one sister Betty L. Fosse of Yakima and four brothers; John A. Zitting, Jr., G. Fred Zitting and Carl E. Zitting all of Wenatchee, and H. LeRoy of Logan, Utah. A time of visitation will be Wednesday, 9 a.m. till 8 p.m. and Thrusday 9 a.m. till 10 a.m. at the Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle.
