5232 | Hazel Earline Barlow Zitting Zitting (*1938). Hazel was married to Allen Christensen Zitting (1933-1957), a son of Charles Fredrick Zitting and Edna Aleene Christensen, as his second wife in 1955. Hazel’s half-sister Ramona was married to Allen’s half-brother Carl Zitting in the same year (1955). Allen’s other wife (married in 1953) was Laura Jean Barlow, the daughter of Ianthus Winford Barlow Sr (Hazel’s grandfather) and Cleo Olson. Laura Jean Barlow, Hazel’s sisterwife, was thus Hazel’s aunt. Allen died two years into the marriage: “A 24 year old father of four from Murray was crushed to death when wet clay caved into a ditch where he was working. Allen C. Zitting died almost instantly when a 12 foot strip of one wall of a sewer trench fell against him. Allen had three sons and a daughter, Allen Zitting Jr, Joseph Zitting and Benjamin Zitting, and Sarah Ann Zitting.” Allen Zitting Jr only lived from 1953-1993, he died in a car accident. Allen Zitting Jr had two wives: Claudia Jessop and Lucene Hammon. Back to his father: Laura Jean Barlow remarried to Ernest Cleveland van Bibber in 1967. Her niece Hazel Barlow was passed down to her brother-in-law, her late husband’s brother (and at the same time: her uncle), Lorin Cope Zitting (levirate marriage). Lorin Zitting is today in Centennial Park. Another wife of Lorin Cope Zitting is Sylvia Arvilla Nielsen (married in 1953, Wendell Nielsen’s sister - Sylvia was living in Missouri in 2007, following a cult there related to the Laubs.) 5240 | Heidi Fjosne Paulson (May 09, 1964 - November 23, 2011) My name is Heidi; my middle initial is I for Ingeborg, after my late aunt. I was born in Santa Rosa, CA on May 9, 1964 and I died on November 23, 2011 in Redding, CA. The official time of my death was 11:15 am. The nurse was very nice to my sister, Lisa Paoloni and parents, Liv and harold (Herlauger) Fjosne. She proved a cartful of cookies, coffee and soft drinks every so often to take care of my immediate family and guests. My stay at the hospital was the last of numerous stays. Gastric bypass surgery can have several serious complications. Losing 20 feet of intestines is just one of them. Living without natural means to absorb nutrients presents a myriad of other complications that I fought valiantly for 2 and a half year, including line infections once or twice a month, kidney failure and for some reason, after each blood transfusion, the blood disappeared, refusing to regenerate. This visit to the hospital started a serious infection. It did not seem any different than the others, until I went into shock. It was not the first time my family had been told that I was in a grave situation. I never gave up -- I always fought. In that spirit, my family supported the opportunities to try something different -- ""thinking out of the box."" Despite their efforts, the doctors were unable to come up with a viable solution to my deteriorating health. My family was told that no more could be done. My body was finished fighting.l It was time to give up. On the day before my death I experienced a clear moment and I was able to tell my sister and parents that ""I LOVE YOU!"" after that, my communications were limited to mumbling and sign language. I left behind two children, a son of 19 Henri and a daughter of 17 years, Angel. Henri got married a month before I died and I was able to hold and attend the reception in their honor on October 29, 2011. They expect my grandson in January 2012. My daughter will be finishing high school and is planning to study theater arts at the University of Oregon. I also left behind my fiancé, Dan, who I loved very much. Together, we had laid our plans for the future. Nothing spectacular, just a quite and peaceful life. My extended family - my aunt and cousins and cousin-in-law, my niece and brother-in-law paid visits at the hospital and expressed themselves as well as can be done under the circumstances. I understood many phone calls came to my parents from close and far away relatives and friends. Oh, I almost forgot, some years ago my friend Jeany and I decided to do something for abused and abandoned animals and we created a non profit organization called RESQ Animal Coalition. I would greatly appreciate if you could make a donation to RESQ, c/o Pawz for a Cause, 2940 Churn Creek, Redding, CA 96002. I love you all! Good Bye!. | Fjosne, Heidi Ingeborg (I35385)
