7707 | ST. GEORGE, UTAH: William Kay Fullmer, 73, a devoted husband, father, grandpa and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday October 19th in his St. George home, among family, as a result of cancer. Kay was born on March 21st, 1939 in Rexburg, Idaho to Sidney and Merrel Hansen Fullmer. His older siblings are Larry Fullmer and Nadine (Larson). After spending his early years in Tetonia, Idaho, Kay moved to Logan, Utah to attend Utah State University where he met his beautiful wife Jaqueline Winterrose. Kay and Jackie were married on June 24th, 1960 in the St. George LDS temple, and remained living in Logan after graduating from Utah State University. Although they spent a few years of their early years living in Pasadena, California and Ashland, Oregon, and most recently in St. George, Utah, Logan has always been their home, which is where they had and raised their two children, Jeffrey Kay Fullmer and Jennifer Fullmer. Kay spent a majority of his working life as a successful self employed real estate developer, which gave him the freedom to spend time with his family. As a devoted husband and father, Kay dedicated his life to his wife and kids, and spent most of his free time with them. He loved nothing more than being an active part of his wife and children's life. He rarely missed an activity or an event that Jackie or his children where involved in, and was often seen playing a supporting role for his wife Jackie in her many artistic endeavors over the years. Kay had a love for a variety of sports growing up, which ultimately brought him to Utah State University. He enjoyed coaching and being involved with his children during their early years in all their activities. He played basketball and softball on a regular basis with his friends from church. He participated in the Summer Olympics and the Senior Games in basketball. He continued his love for playing basketball until only a few years ago. Kay also had an appreciation for the arts, and always enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts and the theater. Kay had a great sense of humor, and was loved by all he came in contact with throughout his earthly journey. He is survived by his beloved wife Jackie, his son Jeff and daughter-in-law Allison and their children Sidney, Zack, Jake and Drew, and his daughter Jenny and son-in-law Tyce Doezie and their daughter Navee. We love you and will miss you. A viewing for Kay will be held on Wednesday October 24th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Allen-Hall Mortuary, which is located at 34 East Center Street, Logan. An additional viewing and funeral services will be held Thursday morning October 25th at the LDS Church Stake Center located at 1450 East 1500 North, Logan, Utah.
