Notater - Marilyn Jean Humphrey passed away September 18, 2017 from a stroke. She was 79 years old. She was born on January 28, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Iver and Evelyn Wahl. Marilyn was a very kind person and was loved by her family. She was always ready to do something with family and friends, as she enjoyed keeping busy during her day. She enjoyed playing games, shopping at antique stores, volunteering at the humane society, attending church, and walking around the pond near her apartment at Atria Senior Living. We will all cherish the wonderful memories of kindness and laughter she has left behind and we will never forget her famous chocolate chip cookies, Christmas cookies, apple pie, and fudge she so loved to make for us all. Marilyn was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Pentz and second husband, Ross Humphrey. Marilyn is survived by her children, Stephen Pentz (Michiko) of Seattle, WA, Richard Pentz (Lisa) of Lyons, CO, and Jody St John (Craig) of Palos Verdes Estates, CA. Her sisters, Marcia(Dan) of St Anthony Village, MN and Margie(Jason) of Edina, MN. Also survived by her grandchildren, Brian(Christina) and their daughter Stella, Wade, Jimmy, Katie, Nicole, Scott, and Alyssa. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Matt, Carol, Paul, Teresa, Janet and Jenny. She will also be missed by her many friends at Atria Senior Living. Marilyn is now flying with the angels she so always loved. She will be watching from above one by one until we can all be together again. No services are planned. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Visit www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com to share condolences.
