Notater - Halbert Winterrose 1956 ~ 2009 Hal Winterrose, age 53, a five-year resident of Fort Mohave, passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 in Fort Mohave, Arizona.He was born March 20, 1956 in Spokane, Washington to Gayle and Carolyn Winterrose of Salt Lake City, Utah. Hal married Marie Hiott on July 31, 1992. They moved from Salt Lake City to Fort Mohave in 2004. Hal was a builder of beautiful custom homes. His motto was "Anything worth doing is worth doing right!" Hal's passion was building, but he had many interests. He was a gourmet cook, a gardener with a natural green thumb - anything would grow for Hal! He loved the ocean and fishing trips to the Yukon with his dad. He loved riding his Harley and hanging out with good friends. He was an avid reader; give Hal a good book and a quiet spot and he was happy. We will all miss him!!! He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lee Snyder, on July 3, 2009. Hal is survived by his wife, Marie of Fort Mohave; parents, Gayle and Carolyn Winterrose of Salt Lake City; two children, Trever (Pesmi) Symes and Michelle (John) Tanchen; son-in-law, Richard Snyder; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley and Alyssa Snyder, Cassey and Amber Tanchen, and Jade and Damian Symes; five siblings, Jan and Ron Noel, Marty and Deanna Winterrose, Jenny and Devon Wesenberg, Lynn and Wes Meier; Marcia and Craig Henriksen. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Mohave Valley United Methodist Church, 1593 Lipan Blvd. in Fort Mohave, Arizona. A reception to follow at the church.
