Friday, June 11, 2010 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Brownington, Missouri. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Friday. Doris was a sales clerk for Sears.
She was a member of the Clinton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Doris is survived by her daughters Leona Jean Melman, ElCentro, California, Delores Marie Barnard, Coal, Illinois, Patricia Dennison, Deepwater, Missouri, Sherrie Atkins, Kearney, Missouri, and Helen Robinson, Osceola, Missouri; sons Gene Crowder Jr., Spring, Texas, Frank Crowder Jr., Sedalia, Missouri and Willie Crowder, Montrose, Missouri; one sister Julie Anderson, Lee's Summit, Missouri; 27 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
