  Our loving dad, husband, grandpa, great grandpa and mentor lost his battle on December 16, 2008. Born in Bountiful on June 24, 1928 to Swen August Anderson and Rhonda Ethel Harrison. Married Elinore Yates on September 24, 1948. Survived by his loving wife, Elinore; daughters, Carlene (Don) Hatch and Marcy (Steve) Kelson; sons, Bret (Jeryl) Anderson, Rennie (Mindy) Anderson and Cory Anderson; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother-in-law and a nephew. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a viewing on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News on December 18, 2008.
