  Obituary for Robert H. Rangoon Mr. Robert H. Rangoon 74, of Waterbury passed away Wednesday February 24, 2010 at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. Robert was born February 2, 1936 in Waterbury the son of the late Harry W. and Elaine (Backman) Rangoon and was a lifelong Waterbury resident. He was educated in Waterbury schools and was a service clerk at Neoperl retiring after 25 years of service. He was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan and was also an avid wrestling fan. Robert was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. He leaves his uncle and aunt Americo and Evelyn Correia of Oakville, his niece, Karen Godin, his nephews, Gary Cummings and Mark Cummings, his grandniece Erica and his grandnephew, Zachary. He was predeceased by his sister Joan Cummings. Funeral services for Robert with burial in Old Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury will be private. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue has care of arrangements.
